Manage the TERA Files Library.

 

Library Overview

All secure container files are stored in the LOCKTERA User’s Private Library. The User can access the container file analytics and manage and control viewer access from the library.

  1. Click Library icon to access encoded container files
  2. Container (.TERA) File name
  3. TERA File creation date
  4. TERA file size
  5. Click view to view the TERA file content
  6. TERA file content status
  7. TERA file management options

STATUS

ACTIVE – TERA file is active and can be accessed by the authorized viewers)

EXPIRED – TERA file access has expired. The file can no longer be accessed 

BLOCKED – TERA file access is currently blocked. 

ACTIONS

BLOCK- Click ‘BLOCK* to revoke access to the TERA file. Click “UNBLOCK” to allow access once again.

RESEND EMAIL – Click ‘RESEND EMAIL” to resend the TERA file to authorized users.

COPY HTML – Click “COPY HTML” to copy TERA File link in html format into the email message body.

COPY LINK – Click “COPY LINK” to copy link in text format and paste into email, SMS messaging or Chat.

DOWNLOAD – Click “DOWNLOAD to download TERA file to computer or private cloud service.

DELETE – Click “DELETE” to delete TERA file from Library. Once file is deleted Sender and Viewers cannot access contents.

Block/Unblock Viewer From Accessing Content

  1. Click “LIBRARY”‘ to access encoded container files
  2. Click “BLOCK” to block viewers from accessing the content (Type reason for blocking). The access to the TERA Container is blocked for anyone for viewing and/or accessing.

TO UNBLOCK the TERA file, click “UNBLOCK” and
viewers will be able to access the content again.

 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will blocking the Secure Tera File block all Authorized Viewers including those that have accessed the container in the past?

Yes. Everyone will be Blocked

Resend Email

  1. Click “LIBRARY” to access encoded container file.
  2. Click “RESEND EMAIL” to resend the email.
  3. Message will appear in default email body.
  4. Click send.

Can I designate new authorized viewers by adding additional emails when resending? 

No. Only the viewers authorized when the .tera file was created (encoded) have access to the container content.

Can I resend the email to only those who I know didn’t access the content? 

Yes.

Copy HTML

  1. Click “LIBRARY” to access encoded container file.
  2. Click “COPY HTML” to copy the TERA file link in HTML format to the clipboard.
  3. Open email client and paste the HTML link from the clipboard.
  4. Enter email addresses to send to.
  5. Click send.

Copy Link 

  1. Click “LIBRARY” to access encoded container files
  2. Click “COPY LINK” to copy the TERA file link in text format.
  3. Paste the link into an email, SMS or Chat application.NOTE: Access can only be granted by the Authorized Viewers encoded into the TERA File.

Can I send the Container Link to Non-Authorized Viewers when the container file was encoded?

Yes, but only the viewers authorized when the file was created (encoded) can access the container content.

Download Secure TERA File To Local Or Private Cloud Storage

  1. Click “LIBRARY” to access encoded container files.
  2. Click “DOWNLOAD to download the TERA file to a local or private cloud storage.

Delete Secure File Container From Library

  1. Click “LIBRARY” to access encoded container files.
  2. Click “DELETE to delete TERA File from the Library.
    Once the file is deleted it cannot be accessed. Access data captured in reports will remain.

Once I delete the secure .tera file from the library, is it permantly gone?

Yes. The .tera file will be permanently deleted from the library. Data recorded from previously accessed, but now deleted  .tera files is stored in the User Analytic Reports.

Omni-Search Library

  1. Click “LIBRARY”.
  2. Enter search word(s). You can enter and search for container name, tags, references, recipients, content file names and/or dates.

Advance Search Library

  1. Click “LIBRARY”.
  2. Click “Advanced Search” dropdown arrow.
  3. Enter search word in respective category field.
  4. Click “SEARCH”.

Search

Use references and search tags to enhance searching for TERA files. Depending on your business, use account numbers, IDs, etc when encoding content. References make it easy to qucikly search for all TERA files that contain related materials.
