UI Developer

Location: Dallas, Texas/Remote/Work from Home


Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced User Interface (UI) Developer to join our innovative team at Locktera. In this role, you will focus on developing and optimizing the front-end experience for LOCKTERA SHARE, our flagship product, leveraging cutting-edge Web 2.0 technologies such as the Flux design pattern, React, MobX, JavaScript (ES6), AJAX, JSON, ExtJS, and CSS. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze technical requirements, assist in user interface design, and implement responsive, intuitive, and high-performance web applications.

As a UI Developer, you will contribute to every stage of the development process, from documenting technical requirements to producing design documents, writing clean, scalable code, and participating in rigorous design and code reviews. Your expertise will help enhance workflows, layouts, and human interaction design while executing performance and scalability tests to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work alongside developers, designers, and other stakeholders to debug complex problems, design creative solutions, and ensure the seamless deployment of applications. A background in engineering or computer science (BS/MS) or equivalent work experience is essential, along with a strong commitment to driving innovation in the field of digital security. Essential Functions

Education:

  • BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or work experience demonstrating competency.

Experience and Skills:

  • Analyzing and documenting technical requirements
  • Assisting with User Interface design, including layouts, workflows and human interaction.  (Graphic design skills are not required but a plus.)
  • Producing design documents and participating in design reviews
  • Writing code, unit tests, and build/deployment scripts
  • Participating in code reviews
  • Executing performance/scalability tests & profiling hotspots
  • Collaborating with other developers to design solutions and debug problems
  • Implementing Responsive Design
  • Integrating APIs and Third-Party Libraries
  • Continuous Learning and Optimization
  • Maintaining Code Quality Standards
