Locktera Troubleshooting Tips
If you’re having trouble accessing, using, and managing your Locktera portal, follow some of these steps to troubleshoot and enhance your Locktera experience.

LOCKTERA PORTAL NOT AVAILABLE
The issue
Locktera portal URL (domain Locktera.com) not found (404 error and similar).
The solution
The Locktera domain (Locktera.com) may be blocked by your firewall. Check your device firewall or contact your network administrator to allow two-way traffic to any Locktera.com domain.
LOGIN AUTHENTICATION FAILURE
The issue
When you’re trying to login into the Locktera portal you receive an authentication failure message.
The solution
Regardless of the authentication method (Google, Microsoft, or Email) make sure you are logging in with the correct email ID assigned to you as a Locktera User. Check your spam and junk email boxes if you are using the Email Authentication method and you did not receive the access code emailed to you from Locktera.

OUTDATED WEB BROWSER ERROR
The issue
When logging into the Locktera portal you receive an outdated web browser error failure message.
The solution
The web browser used to access the Locktera portal is outdated and not supported. Update your browser to the latest available for the best experience.

LOCKTERA PORTAL NOT DISPLAYED (BLANK WEB PAGE)
The issue
After successful login, a blank page is displayed.
The solution
The web browser used to access the Locktera portal is outdate and not supported. Update your browser and the device operating system (Windows, MacOS) as required by the web brower version.

ERRORS WHEN SECURING FILES/ENCODING ERRORS
The issue
When trying to secure files, you receive an error message.
The solution
The following fields are required: Upload files to secure and designate Authorized Viewers by entering their email(s). Check the box to “Allow anyone with link” to access.
